Independent governance in aesthetic medicine

Concerns and complaints

Independent assessment must itself be open to review.

Concerns about conflicts of interest, inaccurate statements or misuse of the IAGS name should be handled transparently.

People involved in a disputed decision must not also decide the complaint about it.

The procedure includes checking jurisdiction, appropriate fact-finding, an opportunity to respond and a reasoned decision.

The Society does not decide medical licensing, compensation or legally binding findings of treatment error.

Submit a concern

Describe the matter concerned and the reason for your concern. Use the Society’s contact channel and do not send sensitive patient information.
